We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and is still enjoying their decorated tree! We will be open today, Boxing Day, with bonus hours of 3-6pm. Our regular hours start back up tomorrow and cheese & meat plates will back on offer tomorrow as well. We are back from our travels and look forward to chatting with y’all!

Saturdays: 2-5pm

A pair of circa 2017 ciders on tap right now. Viscount is now “export strength,” meaning we brought it to 6.9% so that we can ship it. Cavendish is like if Runts banana was also an acid bomb. Enjoy!

There are also two options of Hot Spiced Cider jars right now. Washington cider based is light in color and acidic, whereas the French is darker and tannic. Get one of each and do a taste test at home.

Our jars (750 ml) of Hot Spiced Cider go fast this time of year. A case and a half just walked out the door our first hour open. This is your friendly reminder to pre-order jars by December 7th. We try to keep stock available in the taproom but there are no guarantees. We will have it warmed up in the taproom for you by the glass. Happy December!

Yes, Viscount is back! We used to describe this cider as boozy, caramel apple on our menu and that still applies. Caramel is not added to this cider but it describes the silky, rich deliciousness that is Viscount. Cheers!

*we only ship 6.9% and below, so we dialed up a Viscount recipe that perfectly fits the requirement.

Hot Spiced Cider (HSC) is back! It’s not quite cold enough outside but it will be soon enough. I guess we have broken The Treaty of Broadmoor after all ….😉 We have a limited supply tonight (Friday 11/15) but we will be fully stocked tomorrow. The current HSC is on our British cider but it returns tomorrow on our French cider.

Yes, you should become a Cider Club member. Those outside of the realm can sign up for one of our shipping options (link in bio - we use @vinoshipper as a facilitator but Diana and Jon are the ones filling and boxing still). You can set this up as a gift as well (the form should be easy enough, but feel free to DM with questions).

Live in the New Orleans area? Sign up for our $49/month (or every other or quarterly) option in person (slide two). You’ll get four jar fills (your choice) per cycle, plus 20% off anything else and Benevolent Dictator Book Club access.

And because three people murmured about it, I am compelled to give you a Hot Spiced Cider update.

It is 80 degrees out. The Treaty of Broadmoor declares that HSC shall be released:
1. when it is below 70 during the day for at least three consecutive days
or
2. whenever we finally give up and start doing it anyway because it is pretty much All I Want For... season.

Test run this Saturday, then we will maybe have it on semi-regularly. But I swear to cinnamon if we get a never ending parade of “when did you move” and “I loved movie nights in 2018” types I will make whoever is sitting at the bar talk to any and all people I do not know (which, come to think of it I mostly do anyway if I do not have my Diana shield).

Four ciders from BSC matched with four of our neighbor @pietydesirechoc ‘s amazing offerings (two bonbons - including the wildly limited Musca-DYIN’ Eyes and fresh off the presses Satsuma Moon plus two different lines of chocolate bars). We’re back from Japan! We got home late last nig

We’re back from Japan! We got home late last night but we will have our regular hours this week. We’re feeling better than expected at least so far! We had a great time and even tried some Japanese cider. Of course we can’t wait to have a glass of our own cider. Thanks Alex for holding down the fort. Taproom hours this week Weds 4-7, Friday 4-8 and Saturday 2-5. We will have cheese & charcuterie plates as well. Hope to see you soon!
